Things I Want To Do Before I Die

Our daily lives tend to overshadow our greater desires. Often, instead of thinking of that thing we want to do, we tend to think of that document that needs to be completed for work, that thing the children need, and myriad other things that need to be taken care of. But rarely do these things leave us satisfied. Instead, they result in more of the same.

I recently experienced a revelation. Life doesn't wait for us. It will not wait for us to finish working on the project we are working. Life is about balance. And if you want to live it, you must do so.

So, the following are five of the one hundred things I would like to do:

  1. Meet my cousins' children.
  2. Go whitewater rafting, again.
  3. See Carmen, the opera.
  4. Visit Britain.
  5. Visit France.
